For the second time, and the first player to do so in TG history, Aidan Schlichting has qualified for the State Tennis Tournament and is set to face Marjan Veldic (Rochester Lourdes, 2nd seed) in the first round on Thursday morning at 8 am at InnerCity Tennis in Minneapolis.

Schlichting earned his spot at State by finishing second in the Section 6A Individual Tournament, losing a close final to top seed Max Sampson (Mora), 4-6, 5-7. He has had another successful season and is poised to keep his season going.
