Yesterday, the Eagles (5) avenged an earlier loss to North Branch, defeating the 4th seeded Vikings, 4-3. The deciding team point was secured by freshman Eli Dunn at 3 Singles with a thrilling 7-6 (1), 7-6 (7) win. Dunn came from behind in both sets, including being down 0-5 in the second set tiebreak.

It was the third year in a row that the TG and North Branch faced off in the section quarterfinals.

The team win advances the Eagles to the Section 6A semi-finals on Tuesday (5/21) at Princeton High School where they will take on the Foley Falcons.
